WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Energy Policy Center (AEPC) today announced its official launch as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing energy literacy through nonpartisan education. Through interactive and experiential learning, AEPC will equip policymakers, stakeholders, and the public with a deeper understanding of how oil and natural gas power America’s economy, strengthen national security, improve environmental outcomes, and create thriving communities.
“The essential role that oil and natural gas play in powering the economy and improving quality of life at home and around the globe has never been clearer, and the need for informed dialogue around how we produce, consume, and think about energy has never been greater,” said Anne Bradbury, AEPC President. “AEPC exists to advance nonpartisan energy education so that leaders and stakeholders can make informed decisions that reflect the complex realities of American energy.”
AEPC’s educational programming will include research, policy briefings, expert insights, and immersive field tours to sites critical to the oil and natural gas supply chain. These experiences and resources provide exposure to how energy systems work and what’s needed to keep energy affordable and reliable for every American.
